Shabby Chic Chalkboard

This antique frame is finished in a warm yellow, softly distressed to show off the wood overlay.

The chalkboard measures 24 inches tall and 32 1/2 inches wide.  I am pretty sure that at one time this was mirror frame, so it is well built and heavy.

Getting Organized

I sold this repurposed window today. When I got this solid oak window frame it was in really bad shape.  It had screen stapled to the back...I don't think that it ever held glass as there were no grooves around the edges.  It is the perfect size for a chalk board/bulletin board combination.  A drawer cup holder is a perfect chalk holder.

I understand the new owner is really going to get organized!

The smaller chalkboard is 12 x 14 inches for $15. 

Cabinet pulls hold the chalk so you always know where it is!
